The Leans 03:54
Well, all's right with the world. My equilibrium tells me it's plain as day we're sailing smooth & shooting straight. Now, you say we're verging on a tailspin. Funny, ha - good one. & next you'll say the Earth revolves around the sun... I know what I see. I'm level-headed. I know what I see. I'm level-headed. So, keep your Copernicus, & I'll take my Ptolemy. I know what I see

They'll never take me alive. Don't want any part of this numb number-crunching 9 to 5, slouching toward complacency. They say jump, you say, 'From how high?' Hate your life, but say everything's fine. But my run of the diploma mill sure won't pay for itself. They say go where the money is. All I know is it's someplace else. Seems like it's all been planned this way - in a buyer's market, you've got to sell yourself. Now, I just look back & laugh. Funny how we change with time. Used to make molehills mountain-sized, but I can tell you - everything's fine.
3.
There's not enough time in the day & not enough days in a year & not enough years in a life, my life. Fall down. Let's get moving now. Sick of waiting 'round. Let's get moving now, moving on. I remember when the switch flipped in my head, circuits started to bend, & the printout read, 'Does not compute.' All fall down, so let's get moving now. Sick of waiting 'round. Let's get moving now, moving on.
4.
Nightmare-wide eyes survey from scorched-earth skies. His void-dark mind afraid of the light. The whole world in his claws, a perfect fit. Such a perfect fit. You need to realize it's god eat god, & it's not safe out there. My son, my son, I could just eat you up. All your brothers & sisters know as much. Seems you're up to no good, I'm watching you, my son, my son. You need to realize it's god eat god, & it's not safe out there. You thought you pulled one over on your old man, didn't you? You haven't learned, have you? We eat our young.
